Approach we followed
We gathered all of the documents throughout the litigation that showed the plaintiff was a licensed insurance broker and was specifically exempt from AB5 and was classified and paid properly.
Result
At trial, the Judge ruled in favor of the Company and the Plaintiff did not receive anything on his false claim.
Case 05
Challenge
A trucking company was sued under claims that it was operating as the same entity as a prior business against which a judgment had already been entered.
Approach we followed
