Charity - Employer Attorney Los Angeles and Orange County

CUN_LOGODespite how frustrating California labor laws can be for us business owners, I still believe this is the greatest state in our country.

I also feel privileged to be able to live and operate a business here in the Golden State.

That is why I have made it a point to have my law firm always focus on giving back to the community.

The charity of choice for me is Children Uniting Nations (CUN) where I served as Chairman of the Board for many years.

Why Children Uniting Nations?

CUN was started by Los Angeles philanthropist Daphna Zima with a focus on helping foster children.  Foster children in need hits close to home for me because when I was a young boy we had a bad family situation and my 2 brothers and I were briefly in foster care.

That experience taught me to really understand that receiving the appropriate help at the right moment can make a big impact in your life.

There are several hundred thousand children within the foster care system in the U.S. These children have been neglected by their parents and don’t receive proper nutrition and care,  or worse they have been victims of some type of abuse.

I find these facts very sad and feel the responsibility to find different ways to help children in need.  This is why I served as the Chairperson at Children Uniting Nations and continue to support this worthy cause.

This is non-profit organization is dedicated to not only help children but to reshape their  lives through positive mentoring and academic advocacy.

This charity is very close to my heart as it has allowed me to help many children.

If you own a business in California I encourage you to also user your success and influence to make a difference in the lives of others who are less fortunate.
